Lucie Jounier is back on the road training
Injured after being hit by a car during a training session on April 19, 2022, Lucie Jounier was able to resume road training. She tells us how she feels about it
“Yesterday I received the green light from the surgeon to resume road training. I went straight to riding that day. I had a little pain in my wrist when the road was not in very good condition. But nothing to worry about. I still have a long way to go to regain all my mobility in the wrist with some physio sessions to do. On the other hand, I’m better morally, my home-trainer will stay put for a while. I was looking forward to the month of May, it was important for the rest of the season with races that I like. I tell myself that I am lucky, the worst is behind me. Now I have to focus on my preparation to go back to the races, to meet my teammates and the staff of the Arkea Pro Cycling Team”.
