“It was a difficult race as we expected with 3000 meters of positive altitude difference, and it was 30 degrees. From the start it went very fast, which put some girls in a difficult position. Pauline, Morgane and Yuliia were in the peloton. The race started to get tougher with 50 km to go, we were there. Morgane was in a group that fought for the 8th place not far from the leading girls. She finished 13th. Behind her Yuliia was 18th and Pauline finished 22nd. They both worked for Morgane. It’s a good performance considering the level, and in the end more than 50 km of climbing. A great experience for the team.”
