Pre-race

“Everything is new on this edition of the Bloeizone Fryslan, with a new route. I didn’t race this event last year and it will be a real discovery for me. I have never raced in this country. The training camp in Altéa with the Arkéa Pro Cycling Team has been serious and intensive, the atmosphere between all of us is good. It’s motivating and we’re going to give it our all for the Arkéa Pro Cycling Team, and as individuals, finally, it will be a real pride to wear this jersey for the very first time this year in a race”.

The briefing

“The first day will be a time trial, the first of the year for our riders. It will be a test to know where we stand in this exercise. We saw some good things during the French Championships last year, so we have to confirm this. The next two stages are typically Dutch, flat, with curbs, we will have to be in front, placed, this race can offer us great opportunities to put ourselves forward, and to take things at our own pace with a less dense field than at Het Nieuwsblad. These three days in the Netherlands are a great opportunity to seize, we have ambitions”.
