Anastasiaya KOLESAVA : “I really appreciate when a group has a strong team spirit, because I think that it is by racing for each other that we can expect the best performances; that’s why I can work for my teammates without worrying. When we are a real team, and we don’t run as individuals, that’s when we can achieve great things. I know that this state of mind is already anchored within my new team, Arkéa Pro Cycling Team. Personally, I like the one-day races, but I can also get over some of the bumps well. I can help the sprinters by working for them before a final package. Next year I want to give my best for my team-mates, and be able to play my personal card when I get my chance in certain races.
« Issue du Centre Mondial de Cyclisme de l’Union Cycliste Internationale, Anastasiya Kolesava a été formée au sein de cette structure au cyclisme de haut-niveau en étant amenée à disputer avec ce maillot de très grandes épreuves du calendrier international. Très vite repérée chez les juniors avec de belles performances au niveau international, cette adepte de la piste qui compte de nombreux titres de championne national, notamment sur l’omnium et la poursuite par équipes, possède de belles qualités de grimpeuse, mais apprécie surtout les courses d’un jour. Son sens du collectif devrait en outre apporter énormément à l’équipe Arkéa Pro Cycling Team ».
