Amandine Fouquenet, in winter time

Amandine Fouquenet has started her cyclo-cross season under the best possible auspices: with a success in Boulzicourt! Let’s have a look at this victory and the winter objectives of the Arkéa Pro Cycling Team rider.

Amandine Fouquenet

“Like any restart, it was intense in Boulzicourt for my first cyclo-cross of the season. I won, and this competition also allowed me to get used to all the cyclo-cross equipment. I hope that this is a good omen for the rest of the 2022-2023 cyclo-cross season. My main objectives this winter will be the French Championships in Bagnoles de l’Orne and the World Championships in Hoogerheide, the Netherlands, and European Championships in Namur. I will take the other races, namely the French Cup, World Cup one after the other. My ambitions for this season are to continue my progression and to get good results. This is my last season in the U23 category. The World Cup rounds I will race with the elite women, because there are no two races that are different for them and us, so it allows me to compete with the best, and therefore to progress with them”.
