Pre-race
“I’m back on the road for A Travers la Flandres, apparently the circuit has changed compared to last year, but the difficulties will be the same with cobbles and mountains on the programme. I cut out after the cyclo-cross season, but now after some nice weeks of training, I am looking forward to putting on a number again. I don’t know where I stand and the race is the best way to find out, even if I know from experience that the level will be very high in this race. In any case, I enjoy the Belgian races and I am really looking forward to meeting my team-mates and to line up at the start in Waregem tomorrow”.
What a joy it will be to put a number back on an Arkéa Pro Cycling Team jersey tomorrow. À Travers la Flandre is a race that can suit me, because there are cobbles and that’s what I like. I started training again after the cyclo-cross season, and then I followed it up with exercises. I also rode two races with the boys to get back into the rhythm of the competition before my first race with the team.

The briefing
“The level on A Travers les Flandres will be high with the world’s best on the one-day races at the start of this UCI Women WorldTour race. We will have three riders making their debut with the team: Amandine, Yuliia and Anais. The goal will be to race together, to continue to work on our automatisms, to go in the breakaways, to be clean on the collective level. The Arkéa Pro Cycling Team is still young, so it is obviously gaining experience in very high level events like this one. What allows us to progress is to rub shoulders with the best so that we can then improve our own level.
