Amandine Fouquenet and Anaïs Morichon continue with Arkéa Pro Cycling Team
Nos deux cyclo-cross women ont renouvelé leur contrat avec la structure femmes managée par Emmanuel Hubert.
“In 2023 I will start my 4th season with the Arkéa Pro Cycling Team. I have known the beginnings of the team, and I have seen it evolve over time. My desire was to continue to progress at the same time as the Arkéa Pro Cycling Team structure with the ambition of improving my results in some of the big events on the calendar. I am happy to be able to compete in some great races at a very high level, whether in France or in Europe. I feel I have gained experience and maturity. I wanted to continue within the team, without changing my environment. I am young, but I appreciate this form of stability. It’s a factor that allows me to perform well. I know the staff, I have my habits. The team is from Brittany, based near my home, and I am happy to wear these colours. I have some races in the corner of my mind, but I don’t want to talk about objectives so as not to put unnecessary pressure on myself, but it’s clear that I hope to be able to take part in certain events. But before that, my wish is to have a good cyclo-cross season”.
“I am very lucky to be able to renew my contract with a structure such as Arkéa Pro Cycling Team. My objective in 2023 will be to continue my progression cycle started this season, including in cyclo-cross this winter. I want to perform better next year than I did this year, especially in the biggest races of the calendar. I have gained a lot of power during the 2022 season and I think I will improve even more in 2023. I’m looking forward to it. I appreciate the trust that has been placed in me by the Arkéa Pro Cycling Team, including Emmanuel Hubert, the General Manager. We are really put in excellent conditions within the team. The calendar is interesting with big races on our programme, including Paris-Roubaix, the Tour de France if we are selected…”.

The words of the General Manager
“Anaïs and Amandine are young and talented riders who will be able to take on the role of leaders of the Arkéa Pro Cycling Team next year depending on the race profiles and circumstances. They also have the double quality of being road riders but also cyclo-crosswomen. They are both among the best French riders on a national level. The qualities that they have worked on in the winter in the ploughshares are exported to the summer, and they have shown it on one-day races as well as on stage races. They have shown great promise on the road in 2022, which will undoubtedly be converted into great performances this season.
