Tour de l'Ardèche - Anastasiya Kolesava: "we'll fight every day"

A week-long event, the Tour de l’Ardèche is one of the leading stage races on the French women’s calendar.

Anastasiya Kolesava

“I’ve already taken part in the Tour de l’Ardèche 3 times. It’s a difficult race but this year it’s perhaps one of the least mountainous courses. Clara Emond and Amandine Fouquenet crashed in Plouay and had to withdraw. But we’re staying the course. Our strength will be our solidarity. It’s a tough field for this competition, with a number of UCI Women’s World Tour teams, but we’ll  fight every day.”

Mélanie Briot, sports director

“The Tour de l’Ardèche is a long 7-day stage race, with a field that is always strong. It’s an important event in the French women’s calendar. We’re starting with just 4 riders, so we know that reduces our chances of a good overall classification. However, we have some motivated riders at the start who have the means to express themselves over the stages. The first few days should suit the more adventurous riders, while the last few days will be more suited to the puncheur-climbers”.
