Thuringen Ladies Tour - Mélanie Briot "Try to do as well as in 2022 »
The Arkéa Pro Cycling Team is back on the Ladies Thuringen Tour with the idea of achieving great performances, as it was the case last year.

Pre-race
“I’m very happy to be back racing after a few days off. This is the first time in my career that I will be racing on the Thuringia Ladies Tour. I hope that the six days of racing ahead of us will be tough. The first stage is a team time trial and the following stages are mostly long and hilly. I think the Arkéa Pro Cycling Team can expect a good result in the general classification in this German stage race. I am also very happy to be back with all my team mates and to be racing for the first time with Danielle De Francesco, who I followed very well in the last Ladies Tour de Bretagne.

The briefing
“Five UCI WorldTour teams will compete in the 2023 edition of the Thuringia Ladies Tour. The format of this event is six stages, which is rare in women’s cycling. Few events take place over such a long period of time, except for a few races. We will field a good Arkéa Pro Cycling Team in Germany. The aim is to do as well as last year, even if the level will be higher. The competition starts with a team time trial, then there will be a mix of sprint and hard stages. Our goal will be to be present in this competition, which offers a variety of profiles”.
